The Unquiet Professional’s: Cafe du Esqeux’Fué Memorial Blend (Medium-Dark Roast Only)
The first of De Espresso Liber’s ‘Gold Star Memorial Blends,’ Cafe du Esquex’Fué is roasted in honor of SSG Michael H. Simpson of Charlie Company, 4th Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne). Mike was initially injured on his ATV during an IED attack on April 27th, 2013 in Arian, Afghanistan. He died days later on May 1, 2013 in Landstuhl, Germany with his family and friends by his side.
This blend is extremely unique as it was made with the direction and approval of Mike’s wife, Mrs. Krista Simpson, his team mates and friends and the bag design was also accomplished by working with his family to cut and use the images they wanted.
Cafe du Esquex’Fué itself is a careful mix of Central and South American coffees and has dark roast flavors, good body, and a very bright, tart aftertaste. It is a verstile coffee you can sip on while waking up to start your day or slam to keep the edge while sending rounds down range and protecting freedom!

These are being sold in conjunction with our various SF Gold Star Blends in order to raise additional funds to donate to the Green Beret Foundation. Once an order for a plate is placed, SH Plates will manufacture and ship the plates from their location in Pittsburgh.
*As Cafe du Esquex’Fué is a customized blend, orders taken throughout the week will be compiled and roasted at the beginning of each week. Each of the three coffees are roasted to specific levels separately to bring out their best flavors then are carefully blended together. Compiling orders ensures minimal waste of coffee and resources.*
