The First Special Service Force Mugs honor the tenacity and legendary exploits of 'The Black Devils'. A combined United States and Canadian Commando Unit, these Special Operations forefathers pave the way for both the modern Canadian Special Operations Regiments and the Unites States Special Forces Regiment.
The Arrowhead Mug mirrors the unit patch worn by FSSF Members while the Black Devil image came from a drawing created by one of the unit members. They adopted the name 'Black Devils' upon discovering they were referred to as "Die Schwarzen Teufeln" within a German soldier's diary.
