Operation Jedburgh was a joint, clandestine operation during World War II that involved personnel from the British Special Operations Executive (SOE), the American Office of Strategic Services (OSS) and personnel Free French, Belgium and Dutch soldiers in exile. The teams parachuted into Belgium, France and the Netherlands ahead of the Allied Invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944 in order to conduct sabotage and guerrilla warfare.
