10th Group, 'The Originals', was the first Special Forces Group activated on 19 June 1952. Attracting many former members of the OSS, Rangers, various Airborne units from World War II and foreign nationals, The Originals cultivated a wealth of war fighting, language and cultural skills which continue to define Special Forces today.
