A combined United States and Canadian Commando Unit, these Special Operations trail blazers paved the way for both the establishment of the modern Canadian Special Operations Regiments and the Unites States Army Special Forces Regiment.
The Black Devil image was drawn by one of the Forcemen after the unit adopted the name 'Black Devils' upon discovering they were referred to as "Die Schwarzen Teufeln" by the Germans.
